WATER
360 g (92–94°C / 197–201°F)
STEP 1

Heat your water to 92–94°C / 197–201°F

Place the April Dripper on your carafe or mug.

Insert the April paper filter.

Rinse the filter with hot water to warm everything up, then discard the rinse water.

Add 23g of freshly ground coffee into the dripper.

Level the coffee bed by gently tapping the dripper.

STEP 2
00:00 — Bloom
Pour 60g of water in gentle circles.
Let the coffee sit for 30 seconds to degas.

00:45 — Second Pour
Pour up to 160g total.
Keep the pour controlled and mostly in the center to avoid over-agitation.

01:30-01:40 — Third Pour
Pour to 260g total.
Maintain a slow, steady stream.

2:30-2:40 — Final Pour
Pour to 360g total.
Keep the water level consistent and the stream relaxed.
